The card in question would be my Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms. I blew off work early today to swing by the Sheriff's office and pick up my PA CCW

The celebration continued with a trip to my friendly neighborhood gun emporium where I ordered a Kimber CDP Ultra (they didn't have one in stock). Next stop is Milt Sparks' web site to place an order for a VM2. This is gonna turn out to be an expensive celebration... but it's one that's been a long time coming, so that's OK.
Another piece of cheery holiday news came today in the form of an e-mail from a certain young lady by the name of Daisy - a delightful and efficient customer service specialist at the ATF - informing me that my ammended Type 03 (C&R) FFL (ammended to reflect my new Pennsylvania address) was issued Tuesday and dropped in the mail Wednesday. So I will soon be back in that "business" as well.
All-in-all a great week celebrating my new-found freedom.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July weekend. Do something special to celebrate freedom... and say a prayer of thanks and support for those who fought to win it... and those who fight today to preserve it.
