Patriot Gun Safe?

Any one have a patriot Gun safe? im looking at them real hard and im going to call about some questions tommorro. but my question is does anyone on here have one? and if so what is the quality of them?

Don't have this safe but their warranty (on property fix) looks like a good one. It's a pain if you have to ship it back to get it fixed.

yes, i emailed them for a quick quote and i could get the one i posted above for like 1150+ shipped to my driveway, the free shipping is to the loading dock.where you live i guess.

I have heard many bad things about this company. Aside from that, I have many issues with how they describe their safes. They are purposely misleading customers, which gives others in the business a bad name.

I looked at the site and, in my estimation, at least some of the information seems to be a bit misleading. For example, "Most gun safes this size are built with a flimsy 12 gauge body and 3/16 door. Our Patriot Gun Safe version boasts a 3/4'' steel & Pyro-Block body and 1-5/8'' steel & Pyro-Block door."
OK. That's well and good. Exactly how thick is the steel in their walls and doors? That's right, it doesn't say - just gives the combination thickness of the steel and "fire-proofing" material.

On another page, they mention using steel that is 10-gauge as opposed to competitor's 12-gauge and implying that the 12-gauge is a "security cabinet" while their 10-gauge is a "safe". Personally, I don't think .025" (that's 25 thousanths of an inch) is the difference between an RSC and a safe.

The temperature chart provided is pretty much useless without information on exactly how the test is conducted.

If I was looking at this safe, I would need a lot of answers before committing to purchase.

i was on there site tonite after going to the gun store looking at liberty and browning safes, and while i first thought the safe body was 3/4" thick steel and the door 1 5/16" door after reading it over again i just noticed it was steel+fire proofing, thats what i wanted to ask them on the phone tommorro. im glad i just didnt run into this purchase lol and made my self save the money for it.

*im going to do some research on libertys now they have a very sexy dark cherry and smoked crome gunsafe at the local store but its 2k+ so id have to have them defently come down on the price or have to wait a couple more months for it lol
