The pattern seems wider than it is tall.

This makes me think that maybe I was having side to side sway while keeping the elevation constant.

Sadly, this mean more time at the range to tell for sure. Darn:D

That's pretty good. Is that from a cylinder-bore barrel? Very good, if so.

Have you tried Federal's buck shot in the Flite-Control wad? I bet it patterns half the size of what you have there.

Cylinder bore-Yes

The Federal does pattern tighter, but I did not like the kick.

I think most of Federal's reduced recoil buck is marketed as "LE only". They do make a "civilian" load, which is the same thing with a different part number. Maybe in New Jersey it would be hard to find?

I've been thinking, and I wanted to add a comment about your shot placement. I am very pleased to see that it's good and high-up in the chest. It looks like the center of your pattern is somewhere between the heart and clavicle notch. That's perfect. I see you ignored the 10-ring, which on this target and most others is way too low. I think that conditions many people to shoot way too low in the chest.

Were you trained that way by somebody?
