Going to pattern a new shotgun for HD use. This is the first time I've done in-depth patterning. I have ordered the following loads to test:

Slugs:

Fiocchi Aero Rifled Slug
Winchester Super X Rifled Slug
Wolf Rifled Slug
Federal Vital Shok TruBall
Brenneke KO Slug
Winchester Super-X Power Point
Federal Power-Shok
Remington Slugger
Federal LE LR Hydra-Shok
Federal LE Hydra-Shok
Federal LE Tru-Ball

00 Buck:

Wolf 00B 9 Pellet
Federal 00B 9 Pellet Flitecontrol
Winchester 00B "Military" 9 Pellet
Fiocchi 00B 9 Pellet Nickel Plated
S&B 00B 12 Pellet
Federal 00B 9 Pellet Vital Shok

I'd like to track down some Hornady Tap rounds to try out as well. Have I missed any other good performers?

Yu may want to try some of the low recoil 00 Buck. Al I have tried holds much tighter patterns giving you more effective range. I believe the velocity of the low recoil is about 1100 fps vs 1300 fps. In most applications I think a target hit with low recoil buckshot will swear it was going 1300 fps.

Looks like you have ammo choices covered pretty well...

You may want to try some smaller Buck, just in case. F'rinstance, my Maverick patterns #4Buck MUCH better than 0 or 00 Buck.
