Beautiful rifle Germster, what a deal! Congrats.. Actually all of the rifles posted are awesome.. I had a chance at one very similar with double set triggers a couple of years ago in .270 for $600 but I passed because it had been drilled for a scope mount that it didn't come with and my smith said would be pretty hard to find. I have had some regrets about it ever since. Still looking.... one of these days....

My Mannlicher Schoenuer has never been tapped. No scope ever. But it is pretty beat up, as if it has been heavily hunted and was tossed into the jeep. It is a single trigger, but while the two triggers look neat, you really don't need them. The single trigger works well.

When buying old guns I ignor the little screw holes if they've been tapped. I just put in a little screw that fills it and continue to march. My little gun has a replacement butt plate, so it's not pristine, but I never thought I would ever own one and even beat up as it is I like the rifle. Beat up rifles have a benefit. If you drop it, it just adds.
