Pay it Forward in Reloading

Powder Valley has tons of powder

Powder valley just got a huge shipment of Accurate and Ramshot powder in. I checked they have AA #5 and #7 both in stock right now.

Thanks to tecrench, 30 pcs nickle .38, and a 'scale'

First thing, a big thanks to tecrench for sending me enough purty cast lead to start a small police action! I was only looking for a couple dozen!

I've got 30 pcs of once fired nickel brass, all with .38 +P headstamps. 20 pcs R-P, 10 pcs Hornady. Free to first "I'll take it"

Also have a "scale" - an essentially NIB Ohaus 5-0-5-10. If you're not up on your Ohaus model numbers, it's about the same as a 5-0-5, except it's graduated METRIC. Repeat, METRIC. If you're good with doing the math very conscientiously, and rounding to the half a tenth of a grain, it would be ok for reloading. Or if you're weighing other materials more commonly regarded in metric weights, it'd be great. BUT IT'S NOT SUITABLE FOR USE IN RELOADING EXCEPT BY THE TRULY ANAL-COMPULSIVE, IMHO!! If you're still with me here, I'll send it to the first "I'll take it" for the $10.00 it'll cost to ship it. It really is a very nice vintage, as NIB Ohaus. Just reads in grams, not in grains.

Lyman press to a noob ONLY please

I have an extra Lyman Spartan press I will send to a new reloader who does not have a press already. :D This press is probably 45 years old if not more. It's the first press I ever reloaded on and I started about 1975, and I got it used. This is my way of saying it's American made, rugged, and will last another 50 years a long as you don't abuse it.

It's got the original paint and is frankly in excellent condition, no rust or damage. All I ask is postage costs, and since it will ship in a large FRB that should run $17. Please post "I'll take it" here and send me a PM to let me know you want it. Sorry no dies or shellholders included.

RVN, if that scale isn't taken I'd gladly give it a new home. Noted it reads grams rather than grains. I'm anal retentive enough for the math involved.

Medal, I have a friend who might be able to put that press to good use. Right now he uses mine and is welcome to continue doing so, but he'll be heading off to college next fall. If you don't mind I'll check with him. Keep in mind he does have access to my press for a while longer.

Now... Anyone need some .40 brass? I have 70 or so pieces that need a home. Also have 20-30 pcs of 32ACP ready to be relocated. Will tumble it before I ship if you wish.

I've got some brass I don't need.

.30-06 - 7 pieceas of FC brass, 9 pieces of Remington brass - Claimed by mstreddy
35 Remington - 9 pieces of Hornady brass

I'm in search of some 9mm brass.

Medal, he'd really appreciate it. No worries on the dies. Right now he only loads 8mm and has a set. We thank you for the thought!

Guys, PM your address and I'll get that brass moving. the 32 is dirty and some decapped via a pin. They have not been run through a sizing die though. Much of the 40 was already tumbled.

I also have a handful of 38 Super and 357 Sig cases. We're talking 3-6 pieces of each. Everything I have is range pick up.

Prim, I'll make sure tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure I can spare 50 or so 9mm cases. The only caveat is they are tumbled, sized and belled. Ready to be primed and loaded. If you still want them, I'll send in an ammo box so they don't get dinged up and need to be sized again.

I have a little over half a box of Remington core lokt 7mm Mauser I have no need for. It is factory loaded and brass should last a long time. I only ask you pay shipping.

^ Idlfh7, just FYI you can't ship loaded ammo in the mail. It requires special delivery and costs more than just a box or two would be worth.

Forgive me if you already knew this, but I don't want a fellow member getting into trouble unknowingly.

Paul -

Good looking out but I am already aware of the shipping rules USPS/UPS/FEDEX with ORD-M markings. I realize this is probably not cost efficient but though I would throw it out there for the heck of it. Maybe someone local can just take them off my hands.

Hey guys & gals ...

I have nearly 1,000 pieces of .40S&W brass. They need to be deprimed (I don't have that shell holder) but I have ran them through the tumbler for an hour or so. All of it is range brass. Can't say how many times it has been used. I haven't inspected it.

Willing to Pay-It-Forward by sharing with a couple of reloaders who can use it. I will split it between the first 2 people that sends me a PM ... shipping on my dime ... no charge to you.

oldillini I just shot you a PM.

I have a lee auto disk riser to pay forward along with 50 pieces of 9mm brass and 100 pieces of .38 brass

I'm looking for some 357 brass or some .38 wadcutters in the 10bhn range. I want to see if they will lead in my gun before I go and buy 1000.
