Some of you may remember the thread i posted about finding a flat checkered mainspring housing with a lanyard loop for my 1911. I got one and installed it, Smith & Alexander is top quality stuff!
You might also be wondering about the "(PD1)" beginning the topic, this refers to my current "Project Detatchment 1". I am turning my stock Springfield Armory Mil-Spec into the USMC ICQB (Interim Close Quarters Battle) Pistol. So far I have the grips (Simonich/Strider Gunner Grips), the msh, the sights (Novak LoMount) (but not the tritium inserts.. working on that next.)
