I don't have a pic, but I have a Numrich Arms Hopkins & Allen Heritage Model underhammer with a peep sight similar to what you describe. My father bought the rifle new in 1970 and the rifle came from the factory with that sight. It works great and is quite accurate.
My dad's was the same set-up, but he put a scope on it before he passed away, a nice looong brass Tasco, which I had Malcolm mounts put on when I inherited it. Nice, repeatable settings.
Zimmerstutzen: Is that the peep that sits on the octagon barrel, not the reciever? I thought that might be harder to use, sitting so much forward of the eye.
The nice thing about an underhammer rifle is that it allows a long sighting plane, without worrying about getting powder smoke, or percussion cap fragments, blown back in your eyes.
zimmerstutzen: I did see today in the Midway catalog there is a Williams WGRS-WR Guide Receiver Peep Sight for the H&A. And I could probably use the B. Jones adapter on the backside. Is yours similar to this?
