Supposedly protected by Congress since 1971, a vocal minority of homeowners are complaining about shotgun noise during waterfowl season.

Who would've thought that people who purchase land within hearing distance of an established waterfowl spot would hear shotgun blasts?

People move in next door to racetracks and airports, and then whine about the noise. Move in next door to a hog farm or cattle feed lot and then whine about the smell.

And whine about two months' worth of hunting out of a twelve-month year.
