Hello everyone. New here to the High Road.
Been around guns all my life and started a small collection of my own. First gun I bought was a Pietta 1958. Went to buy some caps the other day and found out no one has them. called every shop with in a 50 mile radius and nothing.
Tap-O-Cap aren't being made any more so I have no caps at all.
I tried the toy caps for the plastic guns they make today and they do not work at all for me. I guess some people have great luck with emm. But didn't get 1 round to find using FFFg. I know people make there own from paper caps.
Anyone have any advice where to find some at a decent price.
Has anyone ever tried using the toy caps and adding a few granuals of PB to increase the pop. I don't mean fill the cap just a a few granuals. As I do not have any luck at all using the toy caps. Any one try this?
And to be honest do not have the extra funds to buy a few thousand caps an pay the hazmat fee for a few weeks. But want to shoot.
any ideas?
