PETA...enuff shown, says it all!

Utter garbage from a few fanatics that know how to make a website and stage a protest Guess they had $8 for a domain name and $25 to rent a cheap costume). Funny how none of those legal papers had any stamps or seals on them. Every legal case I have been involved in would have had the county seal stamped on the paperwork. I am not a big PETA fan but I also refuse to support fanatics like this. Flame away if you like but they will be ignored.

Being a veterinarian, I have had first-hand experience with PETA. As with the anti-gun crowd, the majority of PETA members are well-meaning individuals that have no real knowledge of the true agenda or methods of the organization.

Ingrid Newkirk and her cronies remind me of Paul Revere's ride...A little light in the belfry.

They are extremists in the true sense of the word. Their ultimate goal is not just ending animal research, hunting, and consumption of meat; but ending ALL animal use of any kind-- Including PETS. When Mrs. Jones gives money to PETA, she has no idea that they would prefer to take her pet dog away from her and put it down to end its "suffering in the bonds of slavery".

Does PETA kill animals they "rescue"? Absolutely. That has been documented numerous times in court cases. Are the photos in that website for real, I don't know. It does not change the facts about PETA.

Mike Sr.,

I'm sure as a new person here you're not completely familiar with what all the various subforums are and what they cover so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. This may be appropriate for Legal and Political (although there's no firearms relationship or BOR issue here), but due to the total absence of firearms related material it isn't useful in General. Please PM one of the Moderators to have it moved.

My girlfriend is a paralegal here in North Carolina who worked for the District Attorney in Forsyth county for seven years. I showed her one of the indictments to see if she could catch anything amiss. She says that's the standard form that is used throughout the state and there is nothing odd about it. There is no county stamp. The only time a stamp *may* be used is if a county has a timestamp machine so that it can be documented when they filed it. A small county like Hertford probably won't need that. Some Clerks will use an embossed seal when they file it, but that's something that won't show up in a photocopy.

This form is used by the grand jury foreman and it goes to the clerk of court. Once filed it is public and anyone can go up and photocopy it.

Yep, they must own this CBS url, too. These anti-PETA people sure are sneaky to go through all of this trouble to dupe us all. The only people who wouldn't stoop to such depths are the PETA people themselves!

I like animals.

I can't wait to go out with my new Remington (an old Wingmaster that I have a Leupold scope for) and add some more venison next fall to the deep freeze. Or, maybe I should use my old trusty 30-30, a shotgun, or a pistol, or an M1, or maybe some other gun. I don't know right now.

A month before deer hunting, I can warm up to the season by getting my 12 gauge and decoys out and call in some ducks for dinner.:)
