Thanks for the comments on my P228 w/ Nill grips.

I was hesitant to take the leap on getting Nills because of the price. I got a good price on mine and 'only' paid $130. But it is amazing how nice they feel in your hand - the feel of the wood and palm swell really fits my hand perfectly.

Kel-Tec P-11. Not as pretty as some of the previous pics, but she works!

I'll play. First off, there are some awesome guns in this thread. Really really nice. I don't have many guns, but here are a couple of mine.

All of us, myself included, can brag about the holes we put in a paper target. Nothing compares to the fondness John Holbrook has for his favorite gun. I've never read a post like that on any forum. I'm very impressed and glad you made it home safely. Thanks for your service during a difficult time and war.

Thank you for your (and all of our service men and women's) service. I wish my dad had something like that to return with. I know it's not a good memory but it's better than most of the others, if I had to guess. I know my pops doesn't have any good ones from it.

An oldie, but a goodie!!

This Colt saved my life in 1967 in Vietnam on 13 July, 1967. In that action I fired it four times and got 4 hits on 3 VC. That was the last time I fired it. The inset photo of me was taken on the same day as the action along the Go Cong River. BTW, the M16A1 POS in the photo was jammed at the time!!!! That particular M16 now rests forever on the bottom of the river, and may it Rest In Peace!!!!

John,

Something tells me your life is not the only one Old Loudmouth has saved. I'm glad you made it home. Your story really makes my day and helps me remember that though I may toil long hours at work, my supposed "hardships" are nothing in comparison to the sacrifices you and others have made so that I may live in comfort and happiness.

Thank you.

I'd really like to own a 1911 one day but am cash strapped at the moment. Your pictures do not help in this regard :p .

For now, I'll stick with my Springer XD9:
