You can always shell out a Lil extra for the brass...... my 50 cases have lasted long enough to have been justifiedyou all are tempting me with a 7stw, I have the reamer to. I just don't feel like messing that much with brass at the moment.

I wish I had a Cabela's nearby, if so I'd probably buy that gun back......Cabelas has factory fresh ammo these days. At least the one in Hamburg, PA does.
Btw, OP. If Loonwulf, Troy, & I agree something is awesome, it's probably a solid choice.

honestly It's available here, but at 80 bucks a box it killed my enthusiasm. Course now that I don't own one it's on sale for 35.
lol I may just do that....hard to ignore a 160 class at 3200+, with less recoil than your average .300 load
I see the hornady 162 eld load is under $40 onlinelol I may just do that....hard to ignore a 160 class at 3200+, with less recoil than your average .300 load

I agree with that... well mostly. It begs the question that, at 5000 rounds, is the barrel on a .270 really shot out? I've no way of knowing exactly but I'll bet the .270 on my wall is getting close to that and isn't close to being worn out. Is the op's that far gone? I suppose so or he wouldn't be asking.
6.5 Creedmore is a barrel burner, 260 REM may be dying but is alive and well by the people who have been using it since it came out.
