Picked this up off the counter at Walmart

My local Wal-Mart has several AR's by Windham Weaponry, Bushmaster, Sig, & DPMS last I checked.

Wal-Mart knows how to make money. The way firearm sales are going, I won't be surprised when they start selling handguns.

Let me guess--Your Wally World is not located in a big urban American City?

Thats a good deal on the sig m400 with optic.

I've purchased guns and ammo at walmart before.

Yesterday at Wally I saw Federal 100 packs of .45 for $30, and 9mm for $20. Not bad.

Best is I got a Wallyworld to honor the dicks black Friday coupon of buy one get half off last year and got 200 rounds of 45 ACP for $30!

In my area there are only inline muzzleloaders, a couple hours north where I visit some family they have rifles, shotguns, and good ol' American AR's.

You know what "they" say, location, location, location....In the case of Wally World, it provides the most quintessential example of such.

Oddly enough there are lots of ranges in the 'bastion of liberalism' in which I live .

Absolutely, I also notice that around hunting season they have 20 times what we have for camo and accessories.

That store doesn't stock guns, but you can still buy it there and have it shipped to the store.

I see in that ad the Ruger American n sale. No wonder I can't find it locally, Wally has 'em all.

Where I live there aren't too many to choose from that I'm aware of but there is one about twenty miles from my house. I live in the suburbs of a fairly large city and this particular WM isn't any further out than where I frequent. That being said over the weekend I was going to a small town about 50 miles out and was expecting to check out the local WM to see what they had. To my surprise they didn't have squat, and this is a very popular hunting area. Bummer

Quite the contrary @the STL City store in MO. The very talk of those 'evil' tools of war is futile. They will tell you we don't deal with firearms here verbatim. They have a limited selection of brick .22lr and 9mm behind the counter in locked cases--if purchased it must be paid for at that counter and they then actually escort you out of the store. It's a no-go for me for anything @Walmart as I consider that to be anti-2A (and I'm not interested in the reasoning). To each his own.
Travel West young man, as you've been told.

St Charles, O'Fallon, Wentzville, Warrenton, all the way to Columbia has EBRs. Gas up the go-getter and check it out fellow Missourian!

Actually since they "outlawed" gun shoppping, Bing has become my new friend ;).

-Cheers
Oh fun fact about Bing Video search for certain...performing artists...brings back insanely better results than Google. It's a recurring gag about Bings popularity increased and being better than Google in one place...but apparently it's true.

gfanikf,

Not to be redundant (getting older so bear with me :uhoh:), but what you say is so true--I just don't think that a lot of people are aware that there are decent alternatives to the 'behemoth' AKA Google but Bing is definitely a very capable one (that also "currently" doesn't PROHIBIT firarms shopping as GOOGLE Does. I relaize I am recommending one corporate giant over the very same (like MS needs more dough), but it is what it is and for now the situation is very clear:

Google Firearms Shopping=No No
MS Bing Firearms Shopping=Yes Yes

-Cheers
