My P380 preferred the hot Corbon 90 grain JHPs. This was the only round out of many I tried that I didn't have stovepipes and random in-the-face ejection with.
After three trips back to Kahr, it became reliable with everything, but that took close to 1000 rounds of pricey 380 ammo.
My 2 LCPs have never bobbled on anything.
Might check the Kahr forums to see how others P380s and CW380s are doing.
There were some well dcumented horror stories a couple of years back, mine included.
Now this was before the CW380 was released, so maybe things have been straightened out.
It was a beautiful little weapon after it got straightened out, but never could really trust it, and stayed with the LCP.
I do kinda miss the P380's great sights, and sweet trigger.
Edited to add that I did have a K40, CW40, PM40, and PM9 before the p380 that all worked perfectly out of the box.
