Its a rough little double hammer Stevens... 12 gauge SxS... I want to do a nostalgia / 1930's period correct version since it's well worn. It's already been hacked to 18.5". I'll do a form 1, but not sure what barrel length? 10"?

Cut to just in front of the wood plus 3/4"-1", so probably about 10-11" barrel length. That way, it's handy, doesn't really lose velocity, and would be perfectly suited to home defense (assuming you leave the stock intact, which I would for a period short barrel shotgun)

That's what I'd do, anyway. No reason to hack the stock down to a PGO, get a new stock blank made if you want to do that. :)

No way! I'm leaving the patina on the full stock! I'll take it down to the wood +1", rebead the sight... I think full stock/ sawed off coaches are a real neat piece... I like the nostalgia. Now... How long for a stamp to return to me from Batfe! That's nostalgia! I'm figuring 2 months easy...

Some folks in my county got theirs back 40 days after the check cleared... My LGS has a few guys with silencers, etc and they have been getting Dec 15th check cleared and picked up their stuff Monday. The LGS said it's been real consistant now for 2 months lead time...
