Found a Daisy Model 111 behind the roller guide for the garage at Mom's place today. I rather like the old metal looped removable barrel guns so I was quite pleased. I believe it was actually a BB gun Mom's Dad had bought to control critters messing with his garden vineyard and garden with that Dad had gotten when they closed up my grand parents place. It demonstrated that it had decent compression on some high grass next to the garage and a bit ago a ran five or six shots out of it just out the back door and it seems to shoot in the 400 fps range or so based on my calibrated eye ball, ear and some old water damaged cardboard out by the pump house.......in other words pure guesstimation.
Mom then gave me a Crossman 66 Powermaster apparently unfired in the box. My daughter has already claimed it.
Mom also gave me a Daisy new Red Ryder on a big rectangle of cardboard with a plastic covering sort of shrink wrapped over it that looks suspiciously like the one I gave him for Christmas about fifteen years ago.
I do plan to put the first two to work in the near future and provide photos. Sorry no photos tonight, been in the car since a bout 3 PM and here it is almost 10;30 so I am headed to bed.....new to me toys or not.
