a gun writer decades ago had a Commander
9x19 & .38 SUper - both barrels from Bar Sto
and said to switch required barrel, mags and
extractor,. fwiw
So far I've fired 3 different brands of 9mm and 3 different brands of .38 Super, they all fed and extracted/ejected without any problems with the extractor as it's set up. Haven't tried 9x23 yet, hopefully in a week or so I can get back out and give it a good run.

Oh, I love the 9x23, but it's tough to pony up for the ammo...having the same gun use 9MM and the flame-throwing 9x23 is just TOO cool!

Nice!

I dig your outfit.

Do you re-load? 9x23 is one of the most cost relevant pistols to reload for and very gratifying to boot. So much cheaper than factory ammo.

For what it's worth regarding parts switches, my colt conversion from .38 Super to 9x23 is barrel and mag only - no extractor or bushing.
Still, I bought another bushing and extractor if only to keep the sets whole and round count of various components matching.
