this week. A synthetic 3901 12ga NRA edition and a 12ga 391 Urika Gold Sporting. My main guns are two Browning Citoris, but I got both of these Berettas for $1050. That is a deal my friends!
I bought the Gold from a guy that won it in a local raffle sponsored by a rod and gun club. He never owned a shotgun in his life. He knew my love for them and called indicating that it was mine for $600! No brainer, it was in my trunk 20 minutes after I hung up.
The synthetic I bought at my local Bass Pro Shop. They were out of the standard 3901 and the manager agreed to sell me the NRA version for $499, then he told me if I took out a Bass Pro credit card, I could get another 10% off the gun, making it $450. And the NRA version is a limited edition. Another no brainer!
but you can get them NIB for $1200 or even less. Actually, I prefer a less pretty gun like the standard 391 field grade. When you get that first scratch or nick, it's no big deal. I will most likely sell the gun to someone who will actually enjoy it.
