Just gotta say how enjoyable the M&P is shooting the .357 sig cartridge :what: It has a little bit of flip like a typical .40 does but it squats very nicely in the palm like a .45. Its actually hard to describe accurately though. the 300rds of .357 sig i put through it today really REALLY sold me on this cartridge. I really liked the way it felt and how accurate it was.

The other one i shot today which was my second trip out on was the Taurus 24/7 Oss/Ds .45. Its a tough nut to crack, this one... Its comfortable to shoot, its got great sights on it, the trigger is very nice as well but there is just SOMETHING about it that im not liking. There isn't any muzzle flip, and you don't feel the spring in the recoil... it just comes back into the palm very flat and just kind of dead.

Accuracy could be better too IMO... im a pretty decent shot and i just can't get it to group tighter. Im 550rds through it now and i have always been able to adjust to a gun by now but not this one. I can only get it to fall into a category i have never really experienced before and that's "Combat Accurate" . This weekend im gonna put it on the ransom rest and see what groups it pulls with what ammo.

It's 100% dependable, comfortable and i can point shoot very very well with it... Im just kind of "Enhh" about it

I've been itching for something in .357 Sig since its debut but just haven't yet gotten around to it as of yet. It's got a lot going for it, it seems.

Concerning your Taurus: You've tried other brands than Winchester (wwb) through it, correct? From the image, it appears that there's no rhyme nor reason for the "pattern". It could be that particular pistol does jive with that particular ammo.

I've got a few pistols that are the same way in that they have their favorites but absolutely detest what they don't like (rather than just not doing as well with them). Like giving a wedge of lemon to a child or something, these pistol will spit the bullets any direction as long as it's outwards, though they'll keep what they do like nice and tight. Hopefully your Taurus 24/7 falls into this category rather than simply being sloppy.

I have only had 2 trips out with the Taurus so far. I'll bring a selection of .45 ammo next trip. I may go this weekend to just try some more and focus on this gun only. I usually bring 3-6 guns with me per trip and thats my biggest problem, i don't spend enough time with any 1 particular gun.

I will for sure try different brands of ammo. I know i have some Remington whte/green box, Blazer Brass, Georgia Arms, and far more brands of hollow points i need to run it through.
