I am really looking hard at the CZ 75 and while it is easy to get one in polycoat or satin nickel, I have a chance at a glossy blue model. It is the first time I have seen one available. Unfortunately, I haven't actually seen the gun, so I don't know what the glossy blue finish really looks like or how it holds up. Does anyone have any pics of the CZ in glossy blue?

I used to have a compact, I might be able to shake up a pic. But.... If it is a newer glossy blue they are VERY handsome, and a deep, deep, black blue. It will remind you of an older Smith.

As with any blue, it will wear. So... as a carry gun, I wouldn't go for it, unless the plan is to refinish it over time.

They are not made anymore, but are VERY nice looking. Found a pic - here is is:

I like the blue, but I'd agree that the polycoat will hold up better for carry.

My daughter and I are shooting a pair of SP-01 Tacticals at some of the action pistol shoots, and with 1,500 comp rounds behind each of them, the finish is holding up to the Blade Tech Kydex holsters OK so far.
