I have an older CZ compact with the glossy blue finish, and it is a really deep, gorgeous blue. I guess years of polishing (before me) helped it get that way.

I have a newer CZ 75 B that's glossy, but it lacks the lustre of the older one. What can I use to bring out that higher smooth shine sooner and safely?

Generally, the reason a gun has a deep, lustrous blue is because somebody (at the factory, the gunsmith, etc.) spent extra time and care preparing the metal -- polishing it -- before it was blued. (That's the secret to the wonderful, deep blues of the older Colts and S&W revolvers.)

There's not much you can do to make an existing finish more rich, etc. It happens before it is blued.
