Pics of My Dads, my Moms, Mine now My Sons M1 Carbine

This is a WWII M1 Carbine purchase after the War and customized in the very early 60's.

My dad was the purchaser of this gun in the 50's or very early 60'she had it customized for my mom to deer hunt with but I was born before she ever got to use it so as soon as my dad knew that my mom was going to have a boy it became my rifle that I shot growing up. Now I just recently gave it to my son who is 12.
