Trying out my camera see what ya think.

Looks like a Dillon 650 with casefeeder! I'd say that's an air line to the right but there's no valve on it. :)

Yes it is a dillon 650 w/casfeed and dillon case trimmer , can load .223 .243
.45acp .44mag and.357 with it so far. Dillon case tumbler and scales. And of
course all the case gages and calipers . Yes that is a shop air supply line
you can't see the quick coupler in the photo. I put one on every ten foot
post in my shop. Also very nice to turn pressure down to 5psi and blow loose powder of the press after each use.

Heh - I see you stuck with the "blue" theme. Blue trim, blue ammo boxes - hell, even blue shop towels! I've always hear that PVC was a nono for air lines, though - tendancy to shards of sharp plastic flying all over the place.

Rocko

Just trying to make us jealous! :D

Nothing against NASCAR or Dale Earnhardt, but I really think that the Dillon Precision calendar would be better suited for that chunk of wall space:)

Other than that, it's perfect.

if you like the stool, you would love an office chair i have in my shop. it is yellow and green plaid. it's ugly as the back side of a mud fence. what i really need is a couple of chairs like whoknowswho's. the blue would color cooridinate well. i like blue, it sets off my eyes.

ok i fess up, i shoulda tidied up before i took the pics.

since whoknowswho showed off his ammo storage, here is mine.

it is a 550 that was upgraded to a 550B.

i bought the 550 used from our mayor. he bought it in the late '80s. i bolted on all the 550B upgrades that dillon sent me. i don't know how it compares with the current 550Bs.

Am using a light positioned where you have yours on the 550.
Arthritis forces sitting down so it's great for eyeballing powder charge
when inserting bullet.

that's exactly why the light is positioned the way it is. very perceptive of you. i can swing it around for the other press, too. i peek into every brass to make sure it has powder and not too much powder. some revolver loads, with small charges of a fast powder, at times it is hard to see the powder.

Bdhawk, that box of loads at the bottom of the 44 mag section, do you have any problems with the OAL?;)

Seriously, I wish mine was that organized. Good job.

griz

thanks griz!

are you talking about the overall length of the round itself, or how it fits in the box?

the green box has an internal tray that can be rotated to accommodate long or short rounds, whichever the need. i don't really like the green boxes, they take up too much room. i am partial to the cheapo plastic boxes from midway or berry's. i just happened to have the green MTM boxes so i use 'em. they were left over from my silhouette (sp?) days. they were just the ticket for silhouette (sp?).

the overall length of the round is determined by the crimping groove on my cast bullets. as long as i crimp them in the crimping groove, no problems.

I just meant the bottom boxes appeared to be rifle boxes instead of 44's. Looks like I made a bad assumption. By the way, I was also impressed by the manuals in the binders. It shows use, which implies common sense!

the boxes you mentioned are designed to be versitile. i have used them for .243, .223, 30-30, .45 ACP, and now .44 mag. honestly, you are right, they are really meant for rifle, but well i got 'em and being frugal, i put 'em to work where i need them.

i have in excess of ten load manuals. i also have a bunch of the "load all" booklets. i have also compiled loads of recipies from many other sources that i keep in loose leaf notebooks. i also have a computer program that has recipies from several bullet and powder companies. i get loading information from powder, bullet, and equipment manufactuors, off the internet. i print those and compile them in a loose leaf binder as well. i am embarressed to say, i need to replace some of my manuals. most if not all have newer editions available.

i should follow your lead and get a fire extinguisher for my shop. great idea that i feel remiss in not thinking of. i used to be a fireman. does anyone make fire extinguishers in blue?:D
