Here's a Tweener for you. It's not a 4 or 6 incher, it's a 5 incher.

I'm surprized O'le Snake Eyes hasn't called me a Bastard or something like that this week, or in this thread even. He must be sleepin'.

Actually the barrel before the frame comes into play is about 4.25 & the frame between the cylinder is another .75 inches or so. Total = 5 inches.
If you unscrewed the barrel, it would measure 5 inches with the threaded end.

Here's my Anaconda in 45 Colt. I just checked the zero last weekend. It's all set for deer season!

Sorry to attach the picture guys. Don't have them on the web yet.

I don't own one, but really wish I'd bought one before they got outrageous. Something about Colt revolvers.......... I did see an interesting used one at a recent gunshow, in practically new condition. Were these guns made in .357? A dealer my father had dealt with frequently had it. At first I thought it was one of those stainless high polish Pythons (it was certainly priced like one). Looked closer and the barrel said Anaconda and .357 magnum. I actually wanted to buy it but didn't have the cash on hand and this guy wasn't set up to do credit cards. Next time I saw him it was gone.

I guess it was gone as the Anaconda was only made in .44 magnum and .45 Colt.
