Nice.

Leadpumper, some guns just look accurate, yours appears to be one of them... ;)

Boy, i wish they chambered HP's in 10mm!

12-34hom.

Damn, I just gotta get me one of those!

WildAlaska; If you ever want to put that one up for adoption I'll give it a good home.

Tomkatz; what kind of finish is on yours? Looks good.

This is an 89 MK III done in Boron Carbide. Ammo is Nyclad, Mag is KRD 17 Rounder. I put the cheap thin plastic grips on it from a clone. This is what I carry for a side arm when I hunt (having once been surrounded by a pack of six dogs when armed with only a five shot j frame!). This one still has the mag safety. The trigger made smooth with some moly lube which when applied over (into) the boron carbide made the action down right slick.

I could not get two pics uploaded. So here is a separate close up of the slide roll marks. This one shows closer to the actual color of the gun which is a dark satin grey.

Three Brownings

Here's my three High-Powers....All "T" Series 1-1968 and 2-1969. They will be kept and left to my three boys.

Well, not quite a genuine Hi-Power clone (ha!), but this is my recently acquired 9mm FN HP-DA, which FN claims is based on the Hi-Power but with "modern, improved features."

Bartholomew Roberts,

Your Wickman Hi-Power is what pushed me over the BHP edge...

Pushed? Looks to me like you jumped :)

In any case, I've always thought you had excellent taste in firearms. This just confirms it. Your pictures of AR15s have definitely given me a few ideas as well, though I've yet to muster the funds to even begin investigating them.

The Wickmann Hi-Power is still going strong approaching the 23k round mark. Definitely a purchase I haven't ever regretted.
