My wife is looking for some new grips for her Para CCW. I sent her a few links but the pictures on the web sites don't always do a good job at showing how aggressive the grip texture is. Here are the links I sent her.

We're also considering alumagrips but their pictures are all very clear. A couple of the monkeygrip designs look promising but its so hard to tell from some of the pictures. I think that site suffers from the worst pictures of them all.

So, please post your own pictures of grips from these vendors or if nothing else, you evaluation of how aggressive the grip texture is.

These are not aggressive at all. They have a 320 grit surface texture, which is fairly smooth.

Some Davidson examples, but they are G10, not Micarta. These are my two primary daily carry guns. The pics were taken when they were almost new.

The Davidsons are the best compromise that I have found without being abrasive enough to destroy the inside of my suit / sport coats.

I use them both in regular IDPA and these grips are great with wet hands and in the cold. I tried quite a few different grips, but after my first set of these I stopped looking.

Here's my S&W 1911PD wearing VZ Gatorbacks in Black Blasted Canvas:

I also have a green pair on my Kimber. Excellent texture, and although they're not nearly as prickly as factory checkered wood grips, they're surprisingly grippy. They stay very cool, and they don't absorb moisture at all. Now, if they only made them for Sigs....
