Here's my Winchester SX-1 getting a makeover a few years ago shortly after I bought it. It was in pretty good condition for a 25-year-old gun, but needed new springs and a buffer.



No, I didn't have to use the duct tape to get it back together.

Here's one with some wear marks. I recently had it refinished by Robar - not because I felt it needed it; but I had a gift certificate that was about to expire. Presently working on removing that finish....

Just got this one in a recent trade deal, had a little surface rust but some hoppes #9 and 00 steel wool cleaned it right up. Looks like she sat more than shot. She is a good shooter and a nice HD gun. I think I'll keep this one for a while.

I would but..... I took my BPS down to the Browning plant to have it cleaned and put back together (long story), but they also refinished it and cleaned it! so now it looks new
