I have more info the name on it the manufacturer is Pietro Beretta Gardone VT made in italy mod 84 BB Cal. 9 short. The medalion on the wood grip has a PB in the center. this is diff than what i am used to on berettas is this a beretta or some type of clone. if it is a beretta what does pietro, gardone and VT stand for. why the diff label or is this how there smaller caliber guns are labeled.:confused:

They probably don't put the full name and Italian address on the smaller guns because most of these are made in the U.S.

Pretty much every Beretta will have the "PB" with a circle around it somewhere on the gun or have "Pietro Beretta" in text.

If the grips are original one medallion will have the Beretta "trident", the other side will have "PB".

The 84BB was manufactured in Italy. It has been replaced by the 84fs also known as the Cheetah.

Only the very smallest Beretta's in .25 & .22 caliber cannot be imported into the USA. This has to do with importation requirements from the 1968 Gun Control Act.
