A few years ago I installed a gated Kirst Konverter on a Pietta 1858 NMA. Yesterday I made a video with some historical background and shooting it. Hope you enjoy.

Two questions:
Did you need to go any fine tuning /work to do the conversion or is it an easy no brain exchange?
I've read that it is easy to buy additional cylinders to speed up reloads by simply exchanging the empty cylinder for a second pre-loaded one.
Why did you choose Kirst vs other conversion kits?

Thanks. I'm planning on a Rogers & Spencer video.

The Kirst kit required some fitting, it wasn't completely drop-in. I went with the Kirst because they offered a gated conversion with an ejector rod.
