I have been shooting some pigeons for a few farmers that hate the birds because they <removed> all over the machinery and because of the coccidiosys they spread to the livestock. I use a roto duck and some flocked decoys to start and then spread the dead birds around.

I was recently questionned if I use electronic bird calls which, as for crow hunting, would most likely improve these culls. I have investigated some of these products and even spoke with the reps at Fox Pro. Most providers have pigeon calls to keep them away.

Have any of you seen or heard of downloadable pigeon calls to be used to bring in the birds? The MP3 format is preferred.

Any help or lead is welcome.

Thanks

I'd done some of this years back, we just left the fluttering, dying pigeons lie on the ground. While they're flopping around, the others don't know they're dying, wait until a bunch sit down amongst them, then cut loose!!!!! We'd done this one evening, hauled out 6 wheel barrow loads to the trash pit when finished. Went back about 3 nights later, same routine all over. Take you a bucket of water to keep your shotgun barrel cool. Ha Just kidding.
