I have my Ruger SP101 for many years, and love it. When I first got it, I had Magnaport do a complete action job, smooth the sharp edges, and install a gold bead front sight. While I shot the gun pretty well, I was never really satisfied with my performance, old eyes don't work the way they used to! Recently, I took the gun back to Magnaport and had a S&W adjustable rear sight, and a green c-more front sight installed. Before I did this I drove my self crazy thinking about night sights, lasers, etc. For me, I made the right decision, it's fun to shoot a gun designed for short distances at longer yardage and beat your friends!
