Are there plastic, actual size models available for most concealable auto loading pistols and concealable revolvers for holster manufacturing? I have a plan for a better, deep concealment holster.

Do you know which gun MFG's supply them?

You can buy the "Red Guns" that police use for training for something like $40 each per handgun from Brownells (I think a holster manufacturer qualifies for the dealer discount).

Yes, but not plastic

I have seen many such models, at gunshows where holsters are being sold. These are what they mold the leather around. They are made of some pot-metal alloy, and are molded from real guns so they are quite accurate in the shape. Now, I have no idea who makes them. Maybe you could email one of the big holster manufacturers and ask them who makes the models, so you can be a competitor ;)

You could probably use Airsoft guns.

do a Google search for Airsoft and you'll see a ton of places selling the guns.

The red guns are a little larger than actual size. The Blue guns are more accurate copies. Oden press has aluminum replicas available, these would give you the best service in terms of durability. There's a thread in the "Cop Talk" section of Glock Talk, if you want to do a search there under "blue guns".

Proper plug for boning leather or moulding plastic won't be exactly like the real thing. If exact, it would be real hard to get the thing out of the completed holster.

If a lifelike plug is used...judicious use of Bondo or other filler works to insure proper channels for sights, cylinders, safetys etc.
