Having purchased many items (loading equipment, brass, bullets, etc.) from your company over the years, and cheerfully rounding out the bill to contribute to the NRA, I have an idea for you to think about, if legal. I know other companies have engaged this idea before to some degree.
We need all the citizens we can assimilate for the coming battle for our rights to own and actually use our firearms. Why not use some of these funds to buy memberships to the NRA or other pro-gun organizations. For instance, $25.00 order gets you a 1 year membership.
I would not want to suggest to anyone how to run their business, except we need members, along with financial help. However, money alone will not do the job. We have a foe in the White House not to be taken lightly. We have to think differently than before, we cannot take it for granted that just voting republican will get the job done. We need a force stronger than we have ever had, we will have a voice that will be heard.

Fathers, sign up your sons and daughters, husbands and wives, sign up your spouses. We will gain numbers, we will not let our country be eroded by the socialism that would trample the constitution, along with our freedom.

We are two who intend to enroll in that Organization. But other considerations come into play first financially. We have a budget designed to inflate and add onto our ability to ride out a depression and are working on it.

Larry and Brenda Potterfield have given more than generously in time, effort and money to the NRA and we are all greatful for their continued support. Check them out on Wikipedia and continue to support them and their business.

I think if I were a business owner promoting the NRA I would pick a percentage of every sale for contribution. It could be a small painless percentage for the buyer that would add up to sizeable money for the NRA.

Set me straight if I'm wrong. For your 25.00, you want your 25.00 worth of goods and a 25.00 membership to the NRA?

And free shipping, preferably, free overnight shipping.

this is a little unrealistic dont you think? maybe a $250.00 order, but certanly not $25. the man has a right to make a living. in any case, the only way that would realisticly happen is to raise the prices even more to cover the costs of your membership. just go and join the NRA on your own, we all need to help fight to keep our rights.

I noticed on the nra website where Midway had just given the NRA a check for $4.5 million. They truly are helping and this is where I am doing all of my buying from. I think what we have to do is be salesmen 24 hours a day to secure our rights. Talk to everyone you come in contact with about joining NRA, GOA, etc. stay safe

Another option is to buy a membership for a soldier. While NRA had me on the phone [I called them], they asked if I'd like to buy a membership for an active duty soldier. I did. Now there is one more NRA member getting their magazine and benefits.

I think I was not clear in my proposal. Understand, the money you pay when the bill is rounded off, (for instance a 28.34 bill goes to 29.00 with your permission) does not go into the pocket of Midway. It goes into a fund for the NRA. I merely stated (again, not very good on the specifics) to use some of these funds to increase membership, seeing that this money is earmarked for the NRA anyway. Sorry to confuse anybody.

It really saddens me when I see folks on this site discussing their new $500 Glock or their new $1000 AR, and then, in other posts, talk about how they are "too broke" to join the NRA(or at least their state assn.). It's hard to even purchase a box of premium centerfire ammo for less than $25 these days!!!

I'm not referring to the original poster or trying to make fun of his idea. I think it would be nice if some companies would consider having an "NRA Member Sale" every now and then. Maybe offer discounted items to NRA members or a discount rate. Maybe they should raise the price on items to folks who aren't members of the NRA????!!!??!!(That might work, too!!!)

P.S. If anyone wants a NRA Life Membership for $300, PM me!!!!

Keep in mind that an NRA Associate membership is only $10.00. No magazine and no vote, but it swells the membership numbers. Great for gifts.

Agreed. That is the only membership I EVER buy. I then send the difference in fees to the NRA-ILA.

For those of you in financial trouble, the $10 membership is more than adequate.
