I think Kimbers basic models are thier better models. All the good features, none of the excess bling. I'd take a TLE II over the fancier raptors or coverts any day.
Keep an eye out for a Kimber tactical bump grip safety. They drop in and really make the K's feel a ton better.
The FTRTB should go away as the gunn starts to smooth out. But quality Wilson or Tripp mags and a quality Wolff recoil spring will help. (18lbs I think?, that's what i put in my K's)
My K's like Federal 230gn FMJ the best for practice. Winchester HP's work well in mine for defensive ammo.
