Please identify two WWII era knives

Can anyone please identify these two WWII era knives for me. One looks like a combat knife US and the other is from Mexico with some Spanish slogan on the blade. Thank you
 
The first one is a more modern Jet Pilots Survival knife first adopted in the 1950's and issued to air crews in all branches of service.
What does it say on the small stamped marking on the hex-butt?
Looks like Ontario 86, or 88, but I can't make it out in the photo.
Whatever it says, the two numbers are the last two of the year it was made.

The second one is just a cheap Mexican souvenir shop knife.


Neither are old enough to have had anything to do with WWII.
