It's only a few inches down from the top. It might be a good idea to look the forum over before you post a new thread.

Jeff

There's a pretty high volume at times on this board, and I'd imagine I'm not the only one who has to be careful with time. When a thread comes up, and I feel it needs a response, I don't have time to search through the entire board in fear of re-opening someone's old wounds.
Just a thought. Great board, by the way.

The search button is at the top of every page in this forum. It has a little drop-down menu, so you don't even have to wait for another page to open before you use it.

Skimming down the current topics in a forum takes less than a minute, even for a slow reader. And glancing only at those thread titles with a little lock symbol on them takes no time at all.

When someone refuses to use the search button first, or even to glance down the thread titles list, this discourtesy uses up time belonging to other people -- the all-volunteer moderating staff. And correcting the confusions, duplicate threads, double posts, and outright rudeness that often results takes considerably more time from these volunteers than a courtesy search would have taken from the member.

If following this basic forum coutesy in your post takes "too much time," then all I can suggest is that next time, you might forego your posting time as well.
