From Dillon regarding setting up their sizing die using a headspace gauge.

They're using the word MAXIMUM where I think it should be MINIMUM, & vice versa.

Are they wrong, or me? And why?

Thanks.

The video seems right to me. The case sized to the shortest length allowed by the gauge that will give you a case that will chamber in a firearm with a MINIMUM head spaced dimension.

Thanks so much for taking the time to watch the video & respond, @mcb.
To me, when they said minimum/maximum headspace, I was thinking they were referring to the actual headspace measurement. So in my mind, the shortest case length would result in maximum headspace (more distance between case & bolt), and the longest case length would be minimum.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't fixing to reload while having cognitive issues
