So I saw this at AIM surplus, and I'm just baffled at why it seems so inexpensive. M193 usually runs 40-50 cents a round, but this is only 33 cents a round.

Is PMC upping production, or is there just a temporary dip in demand for ammunition?

If the price is likely to rise, should I stock up on this? Seems like good SHTF ammo.

Price has been dropping for awhile now. I suspect it will be under .30 cents a round soon. When that happens I plan on making a bulk purchase, until than I will wait.

This is a good deal as well.

Naturaly the sellers are still trying to scare people into thinking the price is going to shoot up. They want to get another panic going so we all can pay .50 cents a round again. I hope they lose a ton of money on whatever they bought last year. Heck search Gunbroker.com for 5.56. No one is bidding on anything, unless its cheap. Their are seven pages of auctions for 5.56 with maybe 6 auctions getting bid on.

PMC is commercial ammo made in Korea. AIM likely bought a great deal of it at once. Means they got a better price so they can sell it for less. Mind you, a lot of ranges won't let you shoot steel cored ammo.
M193 is milsurp that isn't standard issue any more.
