change sight picture after 14k rounds

My last post in June was in regards to the durability and dependability of my 2008 model
stainless PT 1911 and the fact that though the negative internet consensus regarding the inferior MIM internals, my PT 1911 after 11k rounds has shown no breakage or serious wear, with the exception of the infamous first batch of badly manufactured ambidextrous safety, for which Taurus sent me out a new set within 5 days after having talked with Christ the manager at the Miami customer service division 800-327-3776 extension #238. He sent me a new ambidextrous thumb safety which has not come lose ever since.
At the end of October when I hit the 14K round count I contacted Chris at Taurus and explained to him that my firearm had a high round count and that the extractor was getting a little bit rounded at the tip and that the Magazine were also getting weak, then I asked him what he could do for me and he said not worry that he would send me a new extractor and two new magazines and once again 7days latter UPS delivered the new parts. This testimonial is for those that have had bad experienced with Taurus, next time you need parts for your PT 1911 call Chris direct you won’t regret it, I don’t ever plan to send my PT 1911 for service as long as Chris is willing to send me parts, especially since I’ve modified my frame with an undercut trigger guard, countersunk the slide stop pin hole on the frame, installed an oversize firing pin stop, increased the Taurus #17.4 lb. main spring to a #23 lb. and installed S&A Main Spring housing. Now let me get to the real reason for this thread. I couldn’t help myself, I had send a shout out for the great customers service that I.ve gotten from Taurus.
When I first bought my PT 1911 I had never shot POI, POA or the straight eight sights. Though the straight eight are very fast the fact that I have to cover my target with the front dot was new to me since I had shot all my life at a 6:00 o’clock target hold, the weird thing is that after going over the 14K my PT 1911 is targeting at a 6:00 o’clock hold the only other change I have made is I changed from Bulls eye to Red Dot, but holding the dot over the target I’m hitting 4” high.
My question is for those of the forum members that have lots more experience than me what could be causing this change, not that I’m complaining but sure don’t want to miss a chance to ler learning something
