Anyone else pocket carry the Glock 27?

I purchased the galco pocket holster and then recognized that I REALLY needed an "always" gun vs a "sometimes" gun (G27 or Ruger Birdshead) vs a "usually" gun (Taurus 85 or SW 60).

I returned the holster and purchased a Keltec P3AT.

Curious, none the less, whether others POCKET carry the G27.

I have a G26 (same size) and I never pocket carry.

It goes on the hip in a tuckable IWB holster.

My P3AT rides in the pocket though.

I used to pocket carry my G27 while wearing cargo pants. It was actually a pretty comfortable way to carry. Unfortunately, I no longer have the G27 nor the cargo pants.

I've got a G26 with an Ahern pocket holster. It can be pocket carried, but it's like putting a thick paperback book in your pocket that weighs almost 2 pounds. Sure, you can do it with baggy pants with large pockets, but the weight will pull the pocket down and even if you wear suspenders or a tight belt it's still not very comfortable. And if you sit down then it really stands out. Doesn't look like a gun, but it's really obvious you've got some large square object in your pocket.

I love my G26, but as a pocket gun it's just too large, too blocky and too heavy for pocket carry. I'll keep it in it's holster and use either a KT P3AT, or better yet, a S&W J frame snubby for pocket carry. The KT is tiny and really light and all but disappears even in jeans pockets, even with a spare mag. The J frame is smaller, less blocky and 10 ounces lighter. And that makes all the difference in the world for pocket carry.

P3AT the right choice for pocket, sold my P11, just to big for mine. The g27 is slightly bigger yet, couldn't imagine wanting that in a pocket all day:)

I pocket carry a G33 (again same size) in a kramer pocket holster. I do wear jeans with bigger pockets than most people. Call it urban wear. One thing I like with the kramer pocket holster is that it has a little tab that helps break up the profile on the gun, making it look more like a book or wallet rather than printing like a gun.

I've owned both a G26 and a G27 at one time or another. Never would I really consider it a true "pocket" gun. It's just too heavy and bulky for the regular pocket. I've always carried it in a standard IWB holster. Wait..I did have one miserable experience with a G27 and a Kramer shirt type holster.

Now my Keltec P3AT definitely fits the bill.
