Just curious if anyone know any PDs in CO that allow 1911 as a duty weapon?

I think the 1911forum has a list of places that allow a 1911.

Pueblo does. In fact I know three officers who carry 1911s. One is a female officer who told me "I love my Kimber!".

The LEOs in Denver can, I'm not sure about Aurora. Loveland PD used to, don't know if that's changed.

    Thanks,

Is that only the S&W 1911?

I've never seen any member of any Colorado law enforcement agency packing anything other than a S&W auto (of course I don't know Denver all that well).
