ok - you were NOT kidding about the graphic ads-
anyway wow, very disturbing, cop was nearly threatening reporter, pretty heavy attitude

Well, I can't look at the video since embedded WMP files crashes my browser...
So I'll just say I hope they're looting so that they can better do their job, and that they'll return or reimburse Wally World.
As long as it's not like the two cops stealing beauty products, or whatever it was they were stealing.

They were taking tennis shoes. Plus other stuff not indentifiable in their shopping cart.

Who cares, it is Walmart, don't most of us hate this company anyways. :banghead:

After getting caught looting:
Reporter: What are you doing?
Officer: I'm looking for looters. Doing my job.

right, sure. like- "who cares what happens in NO, i live in Ca."
or "who cares what happens in SF, i live in NC"
or who cares if someone breaks into your house and robs you, i don't get along with you.

not liking someone or somethign doesnt make it right to do them wrong.

with that attitude, you wonder why your rights get trampled.

when only your rights matter, they dont matter to me. get it?

My post was mostly a bad attempt at satire.

I have no problems with Walmart. NO is in bad shape right now. Hopefully, the situation will get resolved sooner rather than later and we will learn from our mistakes.

I still find it humorous that the cop starts to act like she is trying to do her job when she gets caught.

Unbelievable.
Something should be done about the officers.
I can understand putting a blind eye to it because of bigger things to worry about, but that's only ok when the police are worrying about those other things.
They're not. >_>
I can also understand taking necessities, the guy getting the couple of shirts and maybe getting some food/water.
But bikes? Toys? >_> Theft! (not that taking the shirts and food wasn't theft)

You are just jealous that they have their Christmas shopping done already and you haven't even started! :neener:

Guess the authorities weren't serious about shooting looters on sight.

As far as I'm concerned, these people weren't cops. They were crooks in blue shirts with brass jewelry on the front. I feel bad for the decent cops out there who've just been slandered (and libeled, now that it's been televised) by the dirtbags on the wrong side of the cruiser grate.

Toward the end of last week they charged two NOPD officers with looting. I assume they were in the video, but cannot verify that. That was pretty soon after they had a place to take somebody who was charged with a crime. The fact that they were among the first arrested tells me the NOPD wanted to make a statement that their officers should be setting an example instead of taking advantage of a bad situation. My hat is off to them.

good thing I didn't try to open the link up at work. I would of lost a stripe on that 1st one.

In the future folks, lets try to find a more suitable link for videos. :uhoh:
