Only on a gun forum can a heroic story of an Officer involved shooting be met in the first two posts by police bashing and anti LE comments from people who've likely never fired a shot in anger.

It was critical of the reporting rather than the cop's actions. I don't know how anyone could consider an unequivocal statement that the reporting was bad to be cop bashing.

Whoever did the reporting did a terrible job

Maybe there was some other post that was #2 for a while, or maybe the poster who claimed the post was cop bashing never actually read it, or misunderstood it.

I would like to say I live in the Ukiah area and am proud to personally know Marcus Young. I am not best friends with him or anything but I know him from the L.E. arena have had several talks with him in the last year about politics and things. He was forced to retire from the Ukiah Police Dept. after this incident. I don't believe he wanted to retire so early. Jullian Covella was also a real hero that night. He worked at raleys as a bagger untill he left for school. He will go far in life.
Thats all I know.
