Police-trade 590 Ghost Ring Extended Mag $249

Old cop guns tend to have been carried a lot but fired little. Rarely well maintained by their assorted users either. Mind you, Mossberg M500's came with an 8 round mag and a bayonet lug long ago. Sold for a wee bit less than $269 as I recall. That being a lot more money 35ish years ago.

I ordered mine today, and the guy said he is going to keep the sale price for another day.

It doesn't say 590A1, it says 590, so i would only expect a 590.

But you could email and ask.

ETA: given that these are police trade-ins with what appear to be factory ghost ring sights, and looking at the picture more, it looks to me that these are parkerized, not blued, which was one distinction between the 590A1 and the 590. Otherwise, I can't tell if this is a heavy barrel version, or if the trigger housing is metal (vs plastic) based on that pic on his website. For $250 though, i'll be happy with either one.

Found the perfect opportunity to tell the wife about this purchase last night - right after she told me she spent $261 on jewelry that our next door neighbor makes. She didn't even blink an eye when I told her (as she was still too busy being infatuated with the sparkly bits she just bought). Win! Guess we both got our own nice Christmas presents.
 
These are indeed just a 590. Mine came with a plastic trigger guard, plastic safety, metal trigger. As Sunray suggested, it came well worn.

Cool, except my wife is one of those who makes jewelry - have your wife buy some of hers so I can get a new gun! LOL

BTW, I forgot to mention that my 590 also came with a wooden dowel in the mag tube, which I thought was hilarious for a PD riot gun. /shrug
