Well, I stopped by a local gun/pawn shop that I had heard had large quantities of police trade-in handguns, including Glock 17/19/22/23 etc. I didn't have much in the way of expectations, but man was I surprised!

I told them I was looking for a second Glock 23, preferably with night sights, so they brought out six Glock 23's in the original boxes...

Long story short, they opened a box which seemed to contain a brand new Gen 3 Glock 23. Only one of the magazines had been used, and the gun couldn't have had more than 50 shots fired total, though I'd wager they only fired a max of 13 or 14 rounds since only one mag was used. The entire gun was flawless, exactly as a NIB would be. The envelope which contains the owner's manual hadn't even been opened yet!

They sold me what seemed to be a brand new Glock 23 with Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sights and three mags, only one of which had been used, for $369. So basically, I got a brand new Generation 3 Glock 23 for $369. (I also purchased four extra police trade-in mags for training for $60 total! You'll notice those mags all say "LE/Government Use Only.")

These pictures were taken after I put just under 500 (flawless) rounds of Remington UMC 180gr and Federal HST 180gr through it; you'll notice it's a bit dirty around the muzzle.

Very nice deal on a great pistol!

I take it that all 7 magazine didn't come with the gun?

Heck of a deal, you got me jealous, there isn't enough competition around here as far as gunshops go for the LGS to drop prices significantly on LEO trade-ins. They want like $440 for Glock 22s, for that I'll talk to CDNN if it floats my boat.

Excellent buy. My Glock 23 is my favorite handgun hands down. No matter what I have or trade, I always carry it primarily. I'd like to get a 19 at that price!

A local gun shop sells new Glock, Sig, Springfield and now Ruger to LE/Mil/First Responders only due to manufacturer special pricing agreements. They do however sell these manufacturers to anyone when used, confiscated or LE trade ins so i check in a couple of times a week. One of the best deals i ever had was a Glock 21sf that a cop purchased and returned the same day without firing bc he decided the ambi mag release could accidentally get hit by his seat belt. I snagged it for $400. The best deal however was when some state agency turned in a whole bunch of barely used, if at all, SW MP40s with night sights. They all came with original box, magazines, paperwork and were sold for $300 each. Some agencies that you would never expect to issue firearms due so they rarely if ever get shot or even carried it seems.

I've got LEO trade-in 23 with night-sights and 3 mags, possibly even an unissued gun at that, coming my way. My total price is gonna be about $310....I could have had a 22 at the same price, but choose to skip it since the employer just issued me a new Gen 4 a few days ago to shoot all I want.

Excellent deal! I paid $359 for a Gen2 Glock 22 earlier this year with two mags and it had lots of holster wear though few rounds. A decent deal but yours was a real steal.

Wow. I don't like glocks much at all, but at that price for a NIB gun with night sights and 3 mags.... I would be really tempted to pick one up. In fact, I might have to look up my LGS and see if they have anything like that.
