Police trade ins from Bugsgunshop

Has anyone bought any police trade ins from Buds lately? Specifically, the S&W 5906, 6306 pr 6906?

A friend got one of the 5906s(I think that's what it was) and it was in pretty poor condition overall. The magazine also needed a new spring. He was getting fail to feeds and it wasn't locking the slide back on empty. New mag spring cured that.

A dealer at the gunshow had them, they looked rough

I've bought a couple, an S&W 4566, and a (I think) 4006TSW. The 4566 was pretty rough, it looked like it had slid on concrete on one side, but it shot great, the night sites were dead. The 4006 TSW was in 95%+ condition, with mostly grip wear, and it functioned flawlessly. A friend has a 5906 from Buds and one of the Shields, and both look a little rough, but shoot fine.

They have some 1911 grips I'd like to buy but I know nothing of the company. Any advice? When in Kentucky, I stop by Bud's. Although I've ordered by phone before, I find the service is better in person, (although I live out of their state so I cannot purchase a handgun while there).
