As a bodyguard the person in the picture is too fat, and the sunglasses don't fit the image of a Federal LEO.
I would try to reshoot it with someone who looks a little more like what a member of the Federal Protective Service or Secret Service should look.
Loose the sunglasses, try an angled shot with that shows a wireless ear microphone and lapel microphone, American flag lapel pin, 3 piece suit, etc, i.e, the usual markers, and a FPS or SS shield hanging off the suit coat's breast pocket.
This guy looks like someone John Gotti would hire, not a Federal LEO.

Gradient map (instead of the usual quad/tri-tones) in Photoshop. The reason for doing it that way is that Photoshop CS allows gradient mapping (replacement of tones with specified color gradation) in 16-bit mode, whereas toning is only allowed in 8-bit mode.

Oleg, I've had to think about it for a few hours before I brutally critiqued this one. I think the concept has a lot going for it.
First of all, the guys are right about the need to have more authentic looking equipment, electronics, et cetera. Also is that a preban carbine with a fake suppressor or a SBR with a real suppressor or a real SMG? You need to have something that Joe the Barber can instantly recognize as an "evil" NFA gun like a Mini Uzi SMG or a Kitty Kat with a 7.5 inch barrel.
Second I'd lose the sunglasses you need to have a model with washed out dead looking eyes and a thousand mile stare.
Third, your model needs to have no extra poundage, except for a slight bulge demonstrating his ballistic vest and he needs a thousand dollar silk suit. He needs to look like he just disemboweled somebody's grandmother with her own kniting needle. Your model looks too human, like an ordinary guy posing for a photo or maybe like a casino guard.
Fourth ditto what Digital Warrior says.

That is a slightly retouched Airsoft gun. I was trying to show a "fat cat" by proxy. Will fix the missing "the". I also have photos of him with an M4...but an MP5 is at least as recognizable to the masses as an Uzi (which most of my non-gunnie friends couldn't ID).

As to how the body guard looks, remeber back in the Clinton despotism they had some thug who was caught with FBI files or some such? And IIRC he turned out not to have such a stellar background.
Cannot recall exactly his name or the circumstance, though but I do have a point.
I've read that Senathoors and Congresscritters do not normally get SS details, they have to hire that out, on our dime to be sure, and given the general arrogance and incompetence of politicians and their staffs (staves?) it is entirely possible that they would hire someone of low standards.

However I doubt that guy and the way he is carrying would not be a staff guard for any US Fed elected officer. Maybe in eastern europe...

I'd love to see a news photo, or even a series, of Kennedy, Feinstien, Schumer et. al. and have arrows added to highlight their armed bodyguards or Secret Service coverage.
It might make the point to regular folks that while they are preaching at rallies about how evil guns are, they are queitly and carefully surrounded by armed men and women.
Just my .02 as usual.
BTW, thanks for keeping a great forum up and running for so many of us. I know it ain't easy and at times all of us seem to take turns at being a PITA, but I guess "way back when" Tom Payne probably had people ragging on him for not editing "Common Sense" more effectively.
