The wording on that poll and the choices are terrible. I still voted.

It seems like the results are largely duplicated.

What is the best ice cream flavor?
A. Chocolate
B. Vanilla
C. Chocolate (with sprinkles)
D. Vanilla (with sprinkles)

Keep in mind, the sprinkles have no affect on the original question as to the "ice cream" flavor and shouldn't be included.

We call it the "Slantinel" for a reason, my brethren (it's a Tribune rag). Voted - most people who read it already agree with it, as would most who hit their web site regularly - likely already be leaning anti.

I make my wife pay for the subscription because I refuse to read it; firestarter and packaging material, nothing more.

I lived in O town for 40 years and rarely found that the Sentinel had any hint of fairness in its coverage. It has been slanted badly left for many years. I actually worked there for about a year and discovered that the folks who work there are pretty middle of the road the man upstairs is "Way" left. Hence, another leftist rag. I can also promise you that they have a problem counting votes when they don't go their way.

I voted but nobody in Orlando really takes the Sentinel seriously anyway.

No. These senators, like every member of Congress, took an oath to uphold the Constitution. Protecting the Second Amendment is part of keeping that oath. (193 responses)

Yes. It's an outrage that just a few months after the Newtown massacre, a small group of NRA groupies in the Senate would deny the victims of gun violence the vote they deserve. (164 responses)

No. Obama is demagoguing the gun issue. A Senate majority might cave under the pressure and do something unwise and unconstitutional. The five senators are right to make sure that can't happen. (63 responses)

We call this rag "The Slantinel" in the Orlando area. Slanted way left!

One must remember that most of the major metro papers are owned by the likes of the NY Times and similar and take their editorial direction from their owners - whether Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and on and on

Journalists wording polls, and gathering statistics? Really? A monkey would be more qualified.
