The latest poll from Quinnipiac University indicates that a majority of Americans disapprove of the president’s handling of gun-control policy by a margin of 52 to 41 percent.

My two pence on this are...
1) It's a poll, and you should only take so much away from a poll.
2) There is ambiguity over why they disapprove. Do they disapprove of the concept of more controls? Or did they disapprove of the methods Obama used? Maybe they disapprove of the fact that he failed.
Still, yet another proverbial bullet against that 90% stat that's been well and truly shot up by now.
